Our resident specialist is Stuart Gibbs who studied contact lenses in depth at City University in London. Contact lenses can be fitted for cosmetic purposes (eg unsightly eye disease or scarring and coloured lenses for parties or fashion purposes), for the correction of sight and for certain beneficial health reasons (eg to act as a bandage for ulcers or for stabilising keratoconus).
